The men's captain Eamon Cleary's charity day was held on Saturday 16 Nov'19. This 3-person team event attracted a fine entry of 40 teams; format was best Stableford score on each hole with all 3 scores to count on the par 5s - 8th and 15th holes.
The month of November is synonymous with the promotion of men's health in particular prostate cancer. The Solas Cancer Support Centre, Waterford was the deserving recipient of the proceeds from the charity day.

Following the recent announcement by the Irish Government in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, the GUI and ILGU recommended that all golf clubs, practice facilities and courses across the island close with immediate effect until April 19th 2020.
